AMAZING DISGRACE
The availability of the baptism in the Holy Spirit cost Jesus the cross. (John 7:37 -- 39).

A RECENT TESTIMONY
HI Hal,The only thing I can mention about my back is that for at least two months, maybe longer, I have had some very bad and annoying pain in my right upper back under the shoulder blade. It isn't something that a person can touch or really get to, since it is under the bone. But when I would lay down at night, I would find myself only able to lay flat on my back. If I moved the pain was sharp and uncomfortable. I am the type of person that consistently (tosses) moves all through the night. I don't do well sleeping in the same position. I had been complaining about this pain for a while and decided to go see my friend Hal Weeks. I told him about the pain and he prayed for me. The pain was better but not completely gone until after I walked out of his home. It was as if it just cleared up all of a sudden. That is God at work there. It has now been over a week since I had healing prayer and I thank Jesus Christ for his healing and Hal's healing ministry.Respectfully,Karen Foster

Here is my healing testimony for you to post on your website.
Stephen was 13 when he was struck by a car in Coronado, CA. The car, turning right at a stop light and not seeing pedestrians ran stephen over. Stephen fractured his left foot, sprained his knee, back and neck. After over a year of rehab Stephen was healed through medical doctors. X-Rays showed in 2004 that Stephen had developed a severe case of Arthritis inside of his left foot. Doctors managed to remove all of the affected bone.
When Stephen turned 19 in 2007, years after the accident his neck & back pain returned with more pain than ever before. Doctors tried multiple forms of medication, rehab, treatment and possible surgery. During that time in late 2007 Stephen developed a painful form of TMJD (Temporo mandibular joint disorder). With all of the pain together, the only explanation was through Stephen's body growing to fit his body type of an Adult Male, all the pain from the car accident had never been shown through X-Rays or through any pain fully, until Stephen turned 20 years old. At times Stephen could not exceed limited athletic activity. Have a locked jaw many times in one day and not be able to turn his head in multiple longitudes.
Unable to pay the medical bills that would come with more Rehab and Surgeries. Stephen was working at the time, and still is to this day, St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Coronado, CA. Through working in the youth program Stephen was introduced to Hal Weeks. In a group setting, Stephen attended Hal's famous "Healing and Prayer Class" on Wednesday Nights.
Upon prayer on Stephen, the pain went away. Stephen fell to the ground upon power of the holy spirit. When Stephen awoke he was pain free and could move in directions with his body he could never before. The Holy Spirit also blessed Stephen with the ability to speak in tongues.
Today in 2009. Stephen is still living and working strong for the Lord, working within Ministry and has been pain free since. The words, "Thank You Jesus" is the only medicine needed.

Prayer for Baptism in the Holy Spirit
Heavenly Father, I want to have all the experiences in my life that You have provided for me in Jesus. I am sorry for my pride of knowledge that may have kept me from experiencing any part of the gift You have so graciously provided. I do repent of this pride, Father, and I ask You, Lord Jesus, to me ever deeper into my experience of life and reveal Your life and love to me. I will receive the gift of Your love in Your death for me, and all that it means. I want You to take over the guidance of my life and be my Lord. CASTING OUT DEMONS
Although the Bible has many references to Jesus casting out demons, it is rarely, if ever, mentioned in most churches. Even though their members may be going to psychologists, and taking medication for emotional problems.
Of cours Satan wants us to remain ignrant amd most Christians do do. although they have the authority to cast out the demons that are afflicting them.

BIBLICAL PROOF TEXT?
To the extent that proof, like beauty, is in the eyes of the beholder, is there eny such thing as a biblical proof text?
IS BECOMING CHARISMATIC AN ORDER?
Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
This says to me that, as childrem of God, we "have" the salvation measure of the Holy Spirit
In Luke 11:9-13 it says that we, as spirit-filled children of God, are to ask, seeek, and knock to receive the Holy Spirit from our Heavenly Father.
To me, this must be something more - the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
To me, it is an order.
Also, acts 1:8 was an order to the early church.

A MIIRACLE OR NOT?

Here is my healing testimony for you to post on your website.
Stephen was 13 when he was struck by a car in Coronado, CA. The car, turning right at a stop light and not seeing pedestrians ran stephen over. Stephen fractured his left foot, sprained his knee, back and neck. After over a year of rehab Stephen was healed through medical doctors. X-Rays showed in 2004 that Stephen had developed a severe case of Arthritis inside of his left foot. Doctors managed to remove all of the affected bone.
When Stephen turned 19 in 2007, years after the accident his neck & back pain returned with more pain than ever before. Doctors tried multiple forms of medication, rehab, treatment and possible surgery. During that time in late 2007 Stephen developed a painful form of TMJD (Temporo mandibular joint disorder). With all of the pain together, the only explanation was through Stephen's body growing to fit his body type of an Adult Male, all the pain from the car accident had never been shown through X-Rays or through any pain fully, until Stephen turned 20 years old. At times Stephen could not exceed limited athletic activity. Have a locked jaw many times in one day and not be able to turn his head in multiple longitudes.
Unable to pay the medical bills that would come with more Rehab and Surgeries. Stephen was working at the time, and still is to this day, St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Coronado, CA. Through working in the youth program Stephen was introduced to Hal Weeks. In a group setting, Stephen attended Hal's famous "Healing and Prayer Class" on Wednesday Nights.
Upon prayer on Stephen, the pain went away. Stephen fell to the ground upon power of the holy spirit. When Stephen awoke he was pain free and could move in directions with his body he could never before. The Holy Spirit also blessed Stephen with the ability to speak in tongues.
Today in 2009. Stephen is still living and working strong for the Lord, working within Ministry and has been pain free since. The words, "Thank You Jesus" is the only medicine needed.

AN INSULT?
To not obey Luke 11:9-13 iS to deny that which Jesus died for!

In the early church signs and wonders were commonplace.
So why are they so out of place in so many of the presI day churches today?

HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM
I have observed that there is a practice of using the the prepositions in, with, of, and by interchangeably when referring to the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Since they all have different meanings they cannot all be correct. Since baptize means to immerse, "in' would seem to be the correct choice. The use of"by is the most misleading, since it refers to a different baptism.

tHE GREAT OMISSION?
when a denomination's leadership avoids the supernatural and
their seminaries avoid the supernatural, and turn out ministers who do the
same, Is it any wonder their church limit themselves in carrying out the
great commission?
Don' they know they are denying very power that launched the early church. Is it any wonder they are losing members?
