DIVINE ORDERING

If you think the Bible is a menu, at least let your Father do the ordering. He is an expert in dietary deficiency. And eat what is put on your plate!

BIBLE VERSIONS

No matter which bible version or translation that is chosen -- and there are many -- it is always subject to private interpretation. Therefore, Jesus had to provide an answer. He sent the Pentecostal power of the Holy Spirit, the Author, to interpret it based on our understanding and need to know..

THE NAME OF THE GAME

The Word of God puts the ball in our court. And it is a game of love. But we must return it.

QUENCHING THE holy SPIRIT

1 Corinthians 12:1-21 Corinthians 12
12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. .KJV

Unfortunately. Most present day churches do just that and their congregations are content without them doings so.

WHAT'S FOR LUNCH?

IN my view, any church or member that regards the Bible as a menu will suffer from spiritual starvation. By allowing the Holy Spirit to fill our plate with the full gospel we will be equipped to do good works.

SPEAKING IN TONGUES

In my view, the reason speaking in tongues is so divisive is that it is the objective proof of the baptism in the Holy Spirit. You can't claim you have it if` you do not. Whereas, with the subjective gifts, like faith. You may not have it but you can still claim you do.

AN EFFECTIVE SERMON

The proof of an effective sermon is the responses to an altar call.

YOUR CHRISTIAN FAITH

Is it a Way of life or a part-time avocation?

THE CAUSE OF THE FALL

Adam said, "Yes, dear."

THE FIX:

"Yes, Lord."

WHAT IF?

What if every Christian were thirsty?
John 7:37-39

What if every Christian were obedient?
Acts 1:8

Luke 11:9-13

What if Christian's stopped saying, "That is not my calling?"

What if?

FULLFILLED PROPHESY?

II Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Are the "comfort zone" churches a fullfillment of this predioctiion?

THE "AMERICAN DREAM."

The illusion is we can manage our own affairs apart from being
"one nation, under God."

"I LOVE TO TELL THE STORY....."

Are those that sing, "I love To Tell The Story" is it telling THE story or A story?

A CHURCH'S SPIRITUAL MATURITY

To find out a church congregation's spiritual maturity, just notice what the Pastor doesn't dare to preach about.

PRIDE

Pride got Satan kicked out of Heaven. It can keep us from getting in.

THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

Jesus needed it.
The Apostals needed it.
The disciples needed it.
Saint Paul needed it.
The early church needed it.
Jesus commanded it.
It proved the resurrrection..
Without it the early church would have died out.
The Southern Baptists and other say it passed away.
Hundreds of millions have received it.
How to go for it.

DISCIpLESHIP

Theologian's footnotes do not make disciples -- it takes footprints.

SPACE EXPLORATION

Man's modern Tower of Babel.

THE BIG PICTURE

The secular is a poor frame of reference for the divine. So Jesus sent the power of the Holy Spirit to give us the big picture.

THE WORldLY CHURCH

At the rapture, the worldy church will be left in the lurch.
