What might seem like a detour in our spiritual journey could well be a shortcut in God's plan for us.

This may be what happened to me. When I was first uprooted from my home for 39 years and plopped down into this dry and weary land, I thought God had made a mistake, uprooting me from ministry and putting me here where I knew no one. That was a hard year, but I learned to depend on him more during that time. Now ministry opportunities are opening again. God is always in charge and I must never doubt His wisdom.
