Although the Bible has many references to Jesus casting out demons, it is rarely, if ever, mentioned in most churches. Even though their members may be going to psychologists, and taking medication for emotional problems.
Of cours Satan wants us to remain ignrant amd most Christians do do. although they have the authority to cast out the demons that are afflicting them.

Tickle there ears and he will have no fears.

But if he wants them to respond he could preach on their need to change. And they would change -- churches.

BIBLICAL PROOF TEXT?

To the extent that proof, like beauty, is in the eyes of the beholder, is there eny such thing as a biblical proof text?

IS BECOMING CHARISMATIC AN ORDER?

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
This says to me that, as childrem of God, we "have" the salvation measure of the Holy Spirit
In Luke 11:9-13 it says that we, as spirit-filled children of God, are to ask, seeek, and knock to receive the Holy Spirit from our Heavenly Father.
To me, this must be something more - the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
To me, it is an order.
Also, acts 1:8 was an order to the early church.
